Home is the origin of a person, scenery is a moving process, while the memory is a way to get them together. As an artist/ researcher, a busy career woman and also a mother of three children, I present home in different stages. I’ve been experiencing multi-roles at home and I’ve recorded them through paintbrush and photography. I interpret home by the sectional scenery. The sectioned visual presentations provide me freedom and imagination. The fuzzy and semi-completed pictures trigger the memories that are hidden therein. I try to analyze home from childhood memories to being a mother by these paintings. Writing is just like a trip to a spiritual journey, which is from the outside to the inner heart of home by an extensive analysis. Through the dialogue between me and a body of the art work, I turn the influence and emotion of home into pieces of home scenery. Whether they are intact or injured, these visual languages are cherished. The landscape of life moves on just because it is imperfect. There are five chapters in this writing: In Chapter One, Introduction, I interpret the research motivation, research methods and the content of this creation description, and give a general analysis of the entire structure of the discourse; In Chapter Two, Recalling, I narrate pieces of experience in life course by autobiography; In Chapter Three, Home in the visual dialogue, I analyze the bondage and nourish through the rooms of my home ; In Chapter Four, Family photo album, I discuss the family house and give the micro imagination as a woman in the perspective of a mother and wife; In Chapter Five, The inner home, I have a dialogue with the individual inner soul in the writing process, and find out that the real home lies in a quiet and comfortable heart. As Professor Maggie, Hsun-Wei Hsu, once said, “Home is where the heart is.
