本研究目的在探討不同性別和家庭社經地位的國中生於生涯發展準備度、社會支持、生涯自我效能之差異；以及生涯發展準備度、社會支持對生涯自我效能之影響。本研究以就讀於台灣公立國民中學九年級學生為研究對象，進行結構性問卷施測，寄發問卷892份，有效問卷733份，有效回收率為87.16%。研究結果發現：國中女生之生涯發展準備度情形較男生佳；女生知覺到的社會支持較男生還多；性別於生涯自我效能之程度上並無差別。家庭社經地位高低在生涯發展準備度、社會支持和生涯自我效能上沒有差別。生涯發展準備度和社會支持可正向預測生涯自我效能。國中生所知覺到的社會支持對生涯發展準備度與生涯自我效能之間的關聯並無調節效果。最後，研究者依據研究結果進行討論，提出生涯教育實務應用和未來研究方向之建議。

The purpose of this study is to explore the differences among career development readiness, social support and career self-efficacy of junior high school students in term of gender and socio-economic status. We also examined the predictability of career development readiness and social support to career self-efficacy, as well as the moderator effects between the relations of career development readiness and career self-efficacy. The data were collected from 733 students from four junior high schools in Taiwan via questionnaires, which account 82.17% effective recovery rate. Results revealed career development readiness and social support of girls were better than boys, while there was no difference among career development readiness, social support and career self-efficacy in term of socio-economic status. The predictabilities of career development readiness and social support on career self-efficacy were significant, but the moderator effects between the relations of career development readiness and career self-efficacy was not significant. Finally, theoretical and practical suggestions for career development education and future researches were discussed and proposed.
