本研究為探索桃竹苗地區嫁入客家家庭之外籍配偶，其客語聽說環境因素對客語口語表達能力的影響。研究設計分別使用看圖講話與看短片講話方式，蒐集具備基本客語溝通能力受訪者，以兩種素材引發敘述的語料，使用軟體進行編碼轉寫，並分析語言能力向度，分別計算出平均語句長度及校正後相異詞彙數值，與問卷題項以統計軟體迴歸，得出顯著具預測度因素。研究結果發現，影響外籍配偶客語能力的環境因素中，以家庭聽說環境達到高顯著性，家庭成員是受訪者最主要的客語使用對象。另外，居家周圍的鄰居、工作場域上、朋友…等言談對象，及整體生活範圍環境是否經常有機會說客語，也達到高顯著性，亦產生相當的影響。顯示出家庭環境固然佔有舉足輕重的地位，然而家庭以外的環境更具強化與持續增長客語能力的力量。

In this study, we interviewed 50 foreign spouses who married to the Hakka citizens in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli areas in Taiwan. In order to assess their oral commands, a picture and a short film was presented to elicit their speech corpus. The corpus was used to obtain the MLU and CCTR for each subject, with the research tool CLAN. Besides, they were asked to fill up a questionnaire. Their responses to the 14 questions in the questionnaire were grouped as 4 factors, by the application of factor analysis with SPSS. Then we conducted a regression analysis and inferred the relative influence of these factors on their oral commands of Hakka. Thus the influential factors which contributed to the progress of these subjects, along with their responses to the open question in the questionnaire, were discussed. In the end, several suggestions and implications were proposed, based on the results obtained in the study, hoping that the legacy of Hakka language will prosper and expand under the contribution of the social environment which contains the helpful factors found in this study.
