Internet appears near the end of 20th century and becomes more and more popular. It brings a lot of convenience and changes in human’s life. E-commerce is one of the things which come with Internet accordingly. And, here comes the Three-Party Payment which helps to recover argues between buyers and sellers via E-commerce. The operation fee is the visible benefit model of Third-Party Payment which is tiny for individual merchandise, but, it becomes huge after accumulating. However, I feel pessimistic in the feasibility of this system in Taiwan due to the following reason: (1) Multiple and convenient channels to complete the payment of merchandise in internet in Taiwan. (2) B2C business model dominates Taiwan E-commerce. (3) The bigger keeps big in the Third-Party Payment market, and (4) Extra expense for both operator and users.
However, considering the invisible benefit and market in mainland China of Third-Party Payment, it is worth putting resource and effort. Here are my suggestions. (1) Building Resource in trading platform instead of technical platform. (2) Optimizing the merchandise platform to full-fill the customers’ need. (3) Cooperating with big product-/service-providers who are unique and profitable to share scale-economy and specialty. |
