The purpose of the study was to explain the similarities between Li He’s poetry and Tz’u. In Ming Dynasty, Xu Xue Yi theorized that Li He’s poetry is ‘the outset of the turning into Shiyu’. On the basis of Xu Xue Yi’s theory, this thesis discusses the common grounds between Li He’s poetry and Tz’u in view of the materials, contents, and forms of Li He’s poetry. This thesis is divided into five chapters as follows: Chapter 1, ‘Introduction’, mainly explains the concept of the ‘outset of the turning into Shiyu’ and introduces this thesis. Chapter 2, ‘The Image and the Space of the Poetry’, discusses the images and features of Li He’s poetry and their effect. Furthermore, this chapter emphasizes that Li He intented create a sense of enclosed space in his poetry. Chapter 3, ‘The Aura and the Perspective of the Poetry’ has two aspects. One is the aura of sentiment, which uses the theory of ‘the aesthetics of atmosphere’, the other is the shift of perspective represented by the concept of narrative, which demonstrates the femal perspective and the special perspective shifting from outer to inner in Li He’s poetry. Chapter 4, ‘The Form and the Pattern of the Poetry’, discusses the similarities in form and pattern between Li He’s poetry and Tz’u, including the rhyme and the arrangement of end sentences. Additionally, this chapter corresponds to the interpretation of inherent qualities of Li He's poetry described in chapters 2 and 3. Chapter 5, ‘Conclusion’, summarizes the results of every chapter. In this study, by analyzing Li He's poems images, space formed with images, atmosphere , the conversion of perspective, and the rhyme, it gives a holistic analysis of Li He’s complicated but fancy poetry. On the other hand, it clarifies the argument about the influence of Li He’s poetry on Tz’u. Li He's poetry not only reinterpreted, but also reflects the significance of literary history, ‘the outset of the turning into Shiyu’ is.
