研究主旨是分析鑽削薄圓管的臨界脫層力量;早先所知之薄平板的臨界脫層鑽削力使用彈性力學;本研究所使用的理論基礎係出自於板殼理論,再搭配基本的能量守恆原理俾找出薄圓管的鑽削脫層臨界力量。推導出來的結果顯示圓管脫層的情形會隨著鑽頭直徑相對於圓管的直徑大小而改變,鑽頭直徑相對圓管直徑越大則臨界進給力量必須變小較能避免脫層,如果臨界進給力量不變則在鑽頭直徑相對薄圓管直徑越大時脫層狀況會越嚴重。
In this study the author tried to establish a mathematical model based on Theory of Plates and Shell which includes parameters such as critical thrust force and material properties of composite tubes. Drilling is frequently applied in manufacturing laminate plates for joining parts together, which often causes delamination at the interface between drills and plates. The defect happens in drilling composite thin tubes too. Delamination is one of the major concerns in composite drilling, which will reduce the mechanical strength of composite material. For increasing usage of composite thin tubes in aerospace and automobile, delamination prediction is of serious safety interest.
