This study attempts to investigate the impact of leader member exchange differentiation on team member exchange, knowledge sharing behaviour and overall effects on team performance in terms of innovativeness and constraint adherence. Knowledge is now become one of the most important strategic resources to gain competitive advantage. Therefore, it is important to understand how knowledge sharing can be facilitated in groups. This study presents a model that identifies factors of leader member exchange, team member exchange, and knowledge sharing behaviour that significantly influence team performance.
