許多文獻證實產業的地理集中可提高廠商生產力,但觀察背景皆來自西方國家,令人好奇是否該理論亦適用於領土與人口都與其他國家迥異的中國。本文採用中國電子資訊製造業1998年到2007年廠商資料,以EG群聚指數與總合要素生產力TFP方法檢驗產業群聚與其對廠商生產力之影響。結果顯示同產業空間密度增加帶來負外部性,中國電子資訊製造業群聚程度已過高,導致生產力下降,但交通建設卻顯著對生產力有正面影響。另外,電子資訊製造業上游群聚程度對電子資訊製造業下游廠商之生產力具有相當強烈的正向效果。
