Under the pen name Li Tong, the Taiwanese pronunciation of children, he created one world with the thought of "having a warm view of all things in the world while enjoying all kinds of pleasant joys and bitter sorrows". It is by such deed that he called upon the people on this land and their heart and soul. The paper begins with the introduction of Li Tong's life, writing philosophy and Taiwan's nature writing background and studies the development of Taiwan's nature writing. It analyzes the theme and content of Li Tong's natural writing, his works through the theory of nature writing, and the texts through the presentation of his writing concept, literary critics and descriptions of his friends and families. Li Tong’s novels reveal the relations between human and nature and educational implications of respecting life and valuing resources. The story-telling mode of nature writing makes the nature writing feature in the novel more distinctive and different from the general nature writing of other essays. This study also allows teachers to guide children to understand the natural flora and fauna through the text, stimulating children’s learning motivation, and then further leading the children into the natural environment with the story text combined with life experience in the hope that children can respect life and care about natural ecology.
