月經為女性身體每月的排遺物，為女體成熟的象徵。女性藉由每月月經週期來臨，可以感知月經對身體和心理上產生的變化。本論文以「層層之下」為主題，探討「月經」在各種層面之下的論述，並與自身2014至2016年之間創作作品進行分析論述。藉由創作和論述過程，釐清自我對於月經的體認，以及月經作品與自身創作脈絡的關係。

針對月經創作的探討，文中先描述自身的月經經驗及價值觀，引出創作的目的和動機。並透過人類學的角度來分析，了解不同社會文化中對於月經的觀感，以及月經禁忌是如何形成且建構人們對於月經的認知。在藝術脈絡上，文中也藉由月經相關藝術家創作和人類學家瑪麗．道格拉斯（Mary Douglas）的汙穢理論，闡述藝術家們使用禁忌媒材的價值觀和創作理念，並藉由藝術家創作與自身作品進行對照、剖析，找出屬於自身的表現月經藝術創作手法。在作品的形式上，我透過線香的燒製棉紙的手法與水墨繪畫模式連結，並論述線香在月經作品使用上的重要性，及作品中帶有水墨東方意象的成因。另一方面，在我的作品中透過花在中國時間和文化上的象徵意義，使花作為創作中時間與我自身感受的對照。在以花為主體形象的創作後，至創作後期慢慢由外部經血轉為身體內部的探討。在文末層層總結月經創作和研究帶來的啟示及問題，以及自身未來創作的路徑。

The menstrual blood is egested from woman body month by month, and it’s also a symbolization of sexually mature women. With the menstruation, women can perceive the different between physical and psychological changes. This thesis of artistic creation which forced on menstruation discussed my artwork series between 2014 to 2016. I attempted to realize what I experienced in the menstruation, and connect the relationship with the artistic creation and discussion.

Directing to the discussion of menstrual creation, first I described of my own menstrual experiences and values in the text, then leaded the creative purposes and motives. And through the anthropological point of view, to understand the different social and cultural understanding of menstruation, and how to form menstrual taboos and the establishment of people's understanding of menstruation. In the context of art, this thesis not only described the filthy theory of menstrual-related artists and anthropologists, such as Margaret Douglas, which expounds the values and creativity of artists using taboo media and The work is compared with the artist's work. In this way I found my own artistic expression. In addition to analysis on the form of my art works, I chose the line of incense to burn cotton paper, and find out the ink painting painted-mode link. Discussing the incense in the use of menstrual works on the importance of works and ink with the origin of the image of the East. On the other hand, in my works, I painted calendar follows which symbolized the time of Chinese culture, and made the flower as a contrast between the time of creation and my own feelings. In the flower as the main image of the creation, to the late creation slowly from the external blood to the internal discussion of the body. At the end of the thesis to sum up the creation and research of menstruation and inspiration and problems, as well as my own future creation path.
