Covid-19改變了現代工作的結構和流程。遠端工作和數位化成為每個人的日常生活。工作與生活界限的模糊使安靜離職從社交媒體上的熱門話題變成了社會問題。儘管安靜離職的研究一直在進行,但它仍處於起步階段。本研究旨在找出在工作環境中導致Z世代選擇安靜離職的原因。通過運用質化的歸納法, 對15名Z世代參與者進行半結構化訪談,探討了他們在安靜離職前後的經歷。本研究提出了一個框架,說明了Z世代安靜離職的影響因素, 為組織針對年輕的群體制定提高員工敬業度和留存率的策略提供了有價值的見解。
Covid-19 pandemic forced organizations to reevaluate and adapt their structures and processes. Remote work and virtual become the daily life of everyone. The broken boundary between life and work makes quiet quitting from social media hot topic to social issue. Although some researchers are working on quiet quitting, it is still in its infancy. This study aims to figure out the reasons lead Generation Z to quiet quitting in the working environment. Using an inductive approach, this qualitative research involved semi-structured interviews with 15 Generation Z participants. The interviews explored their experiences and perceptions before and after quiet quitting, aiming to understand the underlying causes of this behavior. This research presents a framework that illustrate the factors of quiet quitting behavior among Generation Z, offering valuable insights for organizations to develop strategies that enhance employee engagement and retention, particularly among the youngest cohort in the workforce.
