The semiconductor packaging and testing industry is a highly competitive market, especially for second-tier manufacturers (Tier2 manufacturers). In such a market, many second-tier manufacturers are under great pressure because they have to compete with first-tier manufacturers (Tier1 manufacturers), which have more resources and technological advantages. To survive in such a market, second-tier players must adopt innovative and strategic approaches to achieve growth and success. This thesis will discuss the competitive growth strategy of the semiconductor packaging and testing industry, how second-tier manufacturers establish their advantages, including technological innovation, market differentiation, cost-effectiveness, and human resource management, as well as how to overcome challenges encountered in the competition. After research in this paper, it is found that the case company has achieved an annual revenue growth rate of 22.99% through mergers and acquisitions in the same industry in the past five years. It is the company with the fastest annual revenue growth among the six semiconductor packaging and testing companies; Revenue, one of the fastest ways to expand market share, can be used as a reference for business operators to run their businesses and expand their territory.
