Abstract
This thesis is the textual discourse of my artworks from 2020 to 2024. Exploring theoretical aspects and organizing visual contexts combines personal artistic creation to define the series of artworks. The theme of this thesis is "Daily Allegory." Inspired by my personal experiences and observations, I am to communicate and connect with the audience within society through my creations. Focusing on contemporary internet and popular culture, I strive to produce paintings that are timely and relevant in both content and form. In Chapter 1, "Introduction": I am expounds the motivation and purpose of the creation, research scope, and structure. In Chapter 2, " Conception of Creation ": Discusses "Image and Word," "Collage, Juxtaposition, Intertextuality," and "Audience," providing examples of artistic forms throughout history to explain the content and purpose of the artworks. The first section discusses the theoretical relationships between "Image and Image," "Image and Word," and "Metaphor" with artists and their artworks. Uses "Photomontage" to illustrate the skill of "Collage" in the second section. Exploring different forms and planes of the works via the concept of "Juxtaposition". Deeply investigates the interweaving of text and text in the "Intertextuality" section and extend the content. The third section analyzes the importance of the audience in the artwork though the theory of "The Death of the Author." In Chapter 3, " Philosophy and Practical Steps ": The first section discusses the "Daily Allegories" and the context of my artistic perspective and crucial issues. Describes the planning of my artworks with the theme and low chroma in the second section. The third section analyzes the skills of "Cut/Screenshot" and "Cover/Filter" in my creative process. The fourth section interprets the importance and ambiguity of "Juxtaposition" in the artwork. In Chapter 4, "Analysis of Artworks": The works are divided into four series : "Social Observation", "Past and Future Progressives","Emoation Encyclopedia"and "Meme". relationship between themes and society through exploring the content of each series. In Chapter 5, "Conclusion": Presents the conclusions and reflections on the thesis and the creative process. Subsequently, plans development in the future.
