ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study is to find the main problems that foreigners face when starting their own entrepreneurial ideas using information from several key people that are related to the entrepreneurial system in Taiwan. Here, we analyze the most common problems that they encounter in the perspective of the implementation of the business proposal for the different accelerators and investors and its relations with the cultural differences that creates boundaries for the foreign entrepreneur to consolidate its entrepreneurial idea in Taiwan.
The findings of this study point that business ideas or business plans can be very promising from foreigners, however the main difference that affects foreigners over local entrepreneurs is the lack of understanding of the culture and business and social practices in Taiwan, this is a big source of problems that entrepreneurs will face while trying to open themselves to the entrepreneurial system in Taiwan.
