論文摘要
塑膠地磚 (PVC Flooring) 為一種複合材料所組成的產品，其基本形成由聚 氯乙烯 (PVC) 加上增塑劑、安定劑、碳酸鈣 (Cac03)、混合物及輔料等混煉合成 並經軋延等程序所製成的地磚，可以說是材料科學的一種應用或可稱之是建築裝 飾材料的一種新創。
迄今塑膠地磚已成為國際上廣泛運用於室內設計、地面裝飾以及裝修首選的 主要材料之一。塑膠地磚材料本身具備的可塑性、規格多樣化，相較其他產品， 輕薄更為其主要特色之一。同時由於印刷技術飛躍式的成長，大幅提昇地磚色彩 美學的層次感及豐富化，符合產品時尚多變的需求。而塑膠的可再生回收、提供 環保節能減碳的實際實踐性，產品兼具防水、防滑、耐燃的特性，提高室內環境 的安全性，相較其他地面裝飾材料而言、塑膠地磚提供了一個質美、價簾、同時 兼具環保的新選項。然而，既有文獻對塑膠地磚產業發展的始末少有著墨。
本文從塑膠地磚的起源、塑膠地磚的種類、塑膠地磚的生產方式、過程，作 一完整的綜述，接著再論及我國法令的變遷對塑膠地磚產業的影響，最後針對整 個國際情勢的變化與發展，探討塑膠地磚產業未來可能發生之問題、困難與挑戰， 並以個人的豐富經驗擬定應變之策略與未來執行方案，希冀對塑膠地磚產業提供 較為全面性、完整的理解，後進者得到經驗傳承之效，除了有興趣的讀者可以參 照之外，亦不枉作者畢生深耕於塑膠地磚製造業所投入的心血。

PVC Flooring is a product composed of composite materials, which is basically formed by adding polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plus plasticizers, stabilizers, calcium carbonate (CaCO3), mixtures and auxiliary materials, etc. Floor tiles made by rolling and other procedures can be said to be an application of material science, or a new creation of building decoration materials.
So far, plastic floor tiles have become one of the main materials that are widely used in interior design, floor decoration and general decoration in the world. The plasticity of the plastic floor tile material itself provides a variety of specifications and diversification. Compared with other products, it is lighter and thinner. One of its main feature, due to the rapid growth of printing technology, is that the layering and enrichment of floor tile color aesthetics have been greatly improved. In terms of the renewable recycling of plastic, the practicality of providing environmental protection, energy saving and carbon reduction, the product has the characteristics of waterproof, non-slip, and flame resistance, which significantly improves the safety of the indoor environment. Compared with other floor decoration materials, plastic floor tiles provide a quality option that is beautiful, affordable, and environmentally friendly.
This paper therefore surveys the PVC flooring industry in greater details in the sense that we provide the step by step production procedure of the industry. The current situation of the industry will be discussed by focusing on the Sino-US trade war, and COVID-19 pandemic. The related regulations on PVC flooring industry in Taiwan is extensively explored as well. Finally, we propose the business strategies in response to the current and coming challenges for the industry based on author’s 30+ experience.
