本研究探討2019年5月2日起至2021年3月2日止，美國5家投入生產植物肉的上市公司與美國3家傳統生產動物肉的上市公司之股價表現，透過敘述統計來看共計 8 檔個股的績效。不同於以往文獻，本研究主要以近年來興起的素食相關食品公司為探討的目標，使其與一般未創新之肉品公司比較。研究結果顯示，除了其中一支純植物肉公司 Beyond Meat 股票表現明顯優異，其餘公司尚未有優於大盤的展現。

This study examines stock performances of 5 planted-based companies and 3 animal meat companies in the period of May 2nd 2019 to March 2nd 2021. By analyzing their returns, we see how these stocks performed through times. Unlike other researches, we put our focus on vegan related stocks. The empirical results show that only companies that 100% invest in innovating, in our case, Beyond Meat, achieved better return.
