In recent years, many international organizations formulated regulations to develop green power and zero-carbon. Some international high-tech companies have also used their influence in the international supply chain to set green power and zero-carbon goals and initiatives. These norms all pose challenges to the legal system of companies in the international supply chain and the countries where they are located, especially those countries or regions whose main industries are in the middle or lower reaches of the chain. They must learn to adapt to these regulations to enable domestic enterprises to maintain their competitiveness in the international market. Under this background, looking at the status of energy and climate legal systems across the Taiwan Straits, it can be found that both sides are facing challenges, and there are many situations that need to be reformed. We can't help asking: What are the requirements of international green power and zero-carbon regulations for companies on both sides of the Taiwan Strait? What are the demands of companies for energy and climate law? What response measures need to be taken in the current legal system on both sides of the Taiwan Strait? Starting from these problems, this article uses the methods of legal interpretation and comparative law to carry out research. First of all, the interpretation analysis and classification of relevant texts of the international green power and low-carbon regulations are carried out, and summary the international green power and low-carbon requirements for enterprises and industries on both sides of the Taiwan Strait; Analyzes the relevant requirements of enterprises for domestic law, under the international norms; Then, using comparative law thinking, sorts out and introduces the current status of energy and climate legal system across the Taiwan Strait, and evaluate and review the deficiencies of energy and climate legal system cross the Taiwan Strait, form preliminary results; Finally, a comprehensive analysis is drawn to obtain several conclusions, with industry viewpoint, corresponding suggestions for improvement of energy and climate legal system across the Taiwan Strait will be put forward.
