The author identifies two issues in elementary education: student writing difficulties and teachers' lack of grammar knowledge. To address these, a grammar analysis module for persuasive essays is proposed to improve teachers' grammar skills and help students acquire grammar tools. The study reviews research on elementary Chinese textbooks and persuasive essays, finding that while grammar concepts are well-studied, they are not integrated into practice. Most research focuses on teaching activities rather than text grammar analysis. Existing writing genres and cohesion theories can be combined to analyze fifth-grade persuasive essays. Using writing theories to determine sentence levels based on elements like "topic-statement structure," "logical reasoning," and "subjectivity," the study summarizes paragraph key points and functions. The author suggests viewing text levels holistically and using writing modules in teaching to help teachers and students understand grammar and improve writing. The proposed analysis module can be adapted for various educational levels and text types, enhancing elementary writing education.
