連接器市場應用面向非常廣泛,於不同產業領域所使用到的各式設備,其內部PCB板上及設備與設備間的串接,都需要用到連接器或連接線纜。連接器可謂是被動元件中相對核心的產品區塊,處於連接器產業市場大者恆大的情況下,中小企業如何在競爭中生存與持續獲利,除了找到利基型產品、加強技術與專利保護外,期望透數位化管理的方法降營運成本,同時提升進行生產良率與效率,才能確保獲利。
中小企業居多的台灣製造業近年來在數位轉型的議題,投入大量資金與人力,最終卻發現,企業數位化的結果似乎未如預期般帶來實際利潤或產值,其問題的癥結點主要在於:管理思維跟不上數位化腳步。本研究主要以連接器公司數位化管理推動做為研究案例,從智慧製造全局架構,設備連網及數據擷取規劃及可視化生產監測,並透過預警通報模塊加速資源調度及異常處理決策的執行,最終依據連網後數據採集彙整綜合設備效率(Overall Equipment Efficiency,OEE)的統計作為改善優化的目標。經由設備的連結與數據整合,進而做到遠端的監控與預警並進行及時、快速的改善分析與決策,有效達成生產良率與效率的提升,期望透過數位化、數位優化進而朝向數位轉型的目標。
The connectors have a wide range of applications in the market. They are essential elements inside all types of equipment used in various industries, playing the roles of connecting modules on PCB boards and connecting pieces of equipment. In particular, connectors are viewed as core product items in passive components. Under the dominance of big enterprises in the connector industry, beyond having niche products, strengthening manufacturing technologies, and enhancing patent protection, it is even more critical for small and medium-sized companies to develop digital operation and management to further reduce costs and simultaneously improve the production yield and efficiency for continuously growing and making profits in the competition.

Although the issue of digital transformation has drawn a lot of attention in recent years, the outcomes in the manufacturing industry in Taiwan often do not meet the expectations in terms of the improvement in the profit and production output. A possible reason is that management thinking adapts too slowly to keep pace with digitalization. This thesis made a case study on the digital management promotion of a connector company, taking into account the overall structure of smart manufacturing, equipment networking, data acquisition planning, and visual production monitoring. In addition, with the help of an early warning and notification system, resource scheduling and anomaly handling decisions could be executed timely and more efficiently. Finally, the overall equipment efficiency statistics are collected and used for further improvement and optimization of workflow management.

To sum up, through the connections between equipment, IIoT and data integration, tasks of remote monitoring and early warnings in production, and efficient management with data-driven decision-making can all be achieved in reality. Experiences learned in this case study bring the company a big step toward the goal of digital transformation and management.
