This research is mainly based on my creative works during my graduate studies (2017~2020). The themes of the works are various things that happen in daily life. There are subtle stories in them, and there are responses to observations of visual experience in life. In my works, I use painting to express thoughts and emotions, try to convey some of my own opinions, and share interesting events that I have explored. I also collect reference objects for my creation by reading relevant texts and researching artists.
The first chapter starts with my own creative motivation, outlines my views on creation, and also talks about my research purposes. The second chapter points out the definitions and concepts of "daily" and "theatre", including sociologists Georg Simmel (1858-1918) and Henri Lefebvre (1901-1991) their interpretation of daily life, and examples of contemporary artists’ works such as Liao , Zen ping (1982-), Liu, Chih hung (1985-), discussing the way in which daily life is executed in creation; in terms of theater, for example, the theory proposed by theater director Peter Brook (1925-) corresponds to what I deal with the connection between the imagination in the mind and the actual theatrical creation of content. The third chapter expounds my creative concept and creative method, and elaborates the steps of my sketching, including sequential splicing and layered splicing. The fourth chapter introduces the works according to the creation time, including " 499 Sketch", " Daily theater", " Glowing, swing ", " One day in Nanliao ", " Nanliao bike tour ". The fifth chapter summarizes, summing up the foregoing, I examine my own creation through writing, and try to find out the extension. I always use life as a place of adventure, and gradually build my daily theater with outlines. With the help of reading related theories and aesthetics, I stay away from the hesitation and confusion when creating works, become more self-affirmed, and hope that I can continue to move forward in my creative career in the future.
