Li Qiao(1934-), who has been diligent in writing all his life, is one of the most prolific writers in writing, and is also an influential literary practitioner in the Taiwanese literary world. His creative genres are varied, mainly long and short stories, and cultural discourses. In addition to novels, he also includes essays, reviews, dramas, poems, and materials. In 2000, the experience of two terms national policy advisers opened another wonderful chapter of Li Qiao's life. Therefore, the author will compare the life changes of Li Qiao's active participation in political activities, the mainstream development of Taiwan's literary circles and the events in Taiwan's political circles to discuss. How did Li Qiao intentionally present historical, realistic, fear, hope, etc. in the form of novels with artistic techniques different from the previous "fiction". Trying to use the non-fiction writing theory that has gradually become popular in Taiwan in recent years, Through the perspective of literature and news, explore how Li Qiao develops the real Taiwan historical events in the form of art under the framework of the fictional novel in the book, and dialogues with the public readers. In this way, we can clarify the relationship between his creative process and his life history, gain insight into the significance of his subject selection, and the connection between the writer and Taiwan's political and historical events, providing a brand new perspective for interpreting literary works.
