Micro enterprise could be seen as the basic component of the economy and play an important role in advanced industrialized as well as in developing countries. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Indian women start the micro enterprises in Taiwan with features of entrepreneurship in female self`-employment and cultural adaptation. Abstract
We adapt case study as the strategy in qualitative research, utilize the methods of in-depth interview and semi-structure interview in data collection. Our findings indicate that Indian females who start the micro enterprises face similar challenges in language barrier and complicated business regulations; also, they possess common advantages in the energy of confidence and the foresight of niche market to approach successful achievement. Moreover, we discuss the reasons why Indian women tend to join solo-employment to reach the balance of family and career. This study also shows the first-hand result as the initial step for those who want to have further research about Indian female’s development as well as Indian female’s business strategies in the micro enterprises.
