企業的經營總是再尋求市場勝出的競爭優勢。但現今企業所面臨環境變化快速的,企業經營者越發重視透過策略來驅動資源建立企業競爭優勢。在過往的研究中,雖有著重產業結構或廠商內部對於競爭優勢創造的研究,然而過去文獻實證研究顯示廠商在變動快速的環境中,常常無法適應驟然的改變。所以,本研究採以動態能力的觀點,探討如何在變動快速的環境下,企業要如何不斷更新自我優勢以適應環境變化,維持或擴大競爭優勢。本研究採用單一個案研究法,選擇喬福泡綿為探討對象,透過命題發展整理個案公司在面對環境變動中,動態能力構面之建立過程。

從個案分析中,本研究發現:
一、企業面臨外在環境變動劇烈時,執行組織重整能力之可能性較高。
二、企業擁有的能耐越多,維持領先市場地位的可能性越高。
三、企業擁有的技術能力越高,企業辨識發展空間的機會越高。

The firm strategy always concerns the comparative advantage in pursuing the win of market competition. However, firms nowadays face increasingly changeable competition environment. The focus of firm strategy has moved to the combination of resource management and competitive advantage. The prior studies have paid much more attention to the industry structure or the impact on the strategy of inner firm. Few have conducted empirical studies to show how firms may deal with a fast changing environment. Therefore, the study aims to employ the dynamic capability theory to explore how firms may constantly adapt themselves to the fast changing environment. The research takes Chiao-Fu Foam as a case study.

By taking the case study, the research finds that (1) the capability of re-organizing a firm may become stronger when the outside environment changes fast; (2) a firm may maintain its leading advantage if the firm has rich and various capabilities; (3) a firm may identify relatively more development opportunities if the firm has stronger technological capability.
