隨著邁入少子化及高齡社會，在科技日趨進步下，為了解決老齡化所產生的議題，創照了新的健康照護模式。本研究以A公司開發之遠距照護系統為例，先從人口年齡結構變化、人口老化指數等因素切入探討為何發展遠距照護系統並期望藉由科技解決醫療照護資源人力及成本之問題。
A公司的遠距照護系統主要功能分為兩大部分，健康照護及生活照護，由醫護背景的照護團隊提供老年人個人化的照護計畫，在2015年秋季，與北美地區的B公司開始合作，並篩選社區40位老年人進行試驗，利用DeLone & McLean兩位教授所提出的D＆M資訊系統成功模式(Information Systems Success Model)，探討遠距照護系統對老年人在健康及生活上是否能得到顯著的改善及幫助。
根據個案試驗分析發現A公司的遠距照護系統在健康照護方面確實能夠讓老年人透過設備達到自主健康管理的效用；而在生活照護方面的功能較引起老年人的興趣，因為可以增加社交連結及生活的樂趣。根據國家發展委員會報告指出，在2018年已正式邁入老齡社會，越來越多人關心老人化議題，希望老年人在健康及生活上能得到關心及幫助，導入遠距照護系統將成為未來的趨勢。

With the low birth rate and aged society, we have created a new model of health care in order to resolve the issues from aged society as technology advances. This study takes the tele-healthcare system developed by A company as an example. According to an older population structure to explore why tele-healthcare systems are being developed and look forward to resolving cost of care resources through technology.
The main functions of tele-healthcare system from A company are divided into two major parts: health care and assisted living. The care team from the health care background provides personal care plans for the elderly. In the fall of 2015, A company began cooperation with B company from North America and screening 40 elderly in the community to conduct experiments and explore whether the tele-healthcare system can significantly improve the health and life of the elderly through the Information Systems Success Model by professor Delone & Mclean.
According to a case study, it was found that tele-healthcare system of A company can really enable elderly to achieve the effect of self-management through the equipment in terms of health care. The function of assisted living is more interesting for of the elderly, because it can make elderly increase social connections and have fun. According to the report of the National Development Committee, It is officially entered aged society in 2018. More and more people are concerned about population ageing issues, hoping that elderly can be concerned and helped in health and life. The introduction of tele-healthcare systems will become the future trend.
