在光電顯示產業競爭激烈的環境中，新產品推陳出新、改朝換代的速度也越來越快，產品的生命週期也越來越縮短。投影機產業身處在光電產業之中，除了面對投影機業者彼此的競爭外，中小尺寸畫面應用也必須與其他光電顯示產業互相競爭，在此高度競爭的環境與市場需求下，投影機亦開始轉往大尺寸畫面的高階工程應用領域發展。而在此高階投影機領域由於技術難度高研發時間長，每個新平台開發的研發投資金額都非常大，因為企業資源的有限性，在開發產品時必須將有限的資源予以最大化的安排或最適運用，如何在新舊平台之間選擇最有利的開發計畫，以發揮最大綜效，提升的市場競爭力和獲利，可以說是投影機公司的重要決策。所以如何有效決策出有競爭力的高階投影機開發計畫，就成為重要的課題。
本研究以簡易多屬性評等技術(simple multi-attribute ranking technique, SMART)為基礎，建構多項高階投影機設計專案重要的屬性參數，發展高階投影機設計專案計畫的評估決策模式，找出最有利的開發計畫，提升高階投影機設計專案的決策品質。
實證研究以台灣某投影機公司為例，在不影響研究效度及分析的情況下，本研究中之資料及指標已作必要之修正，以保障該公司之營業機密，實證結果已驗證本研究之效度與可行性。

The optoelectronic display industry is very competitive owing to shortening product life cycles and continuous technology migration with intensive capital investment. The projector industry is one of the optoelectronics display industry. In addition to facing the competition of the projector industry, the small and medium size screen applications also compete with other optoelectric display industries. In this highly competitive environment and changing market demands, the projector companies have also entered the large-size screen of high-end engineering applications. Due to the high technical difficulty for developing high-end projectors, R & D investments for developing each new platform is increasingly large. The limited resources of the enterprise, it is crucial to maximize the allocation or the optimal use of the limited resources in the development of the product. The decision for selecting the most favorable development plan between the old and the new platform and enhance the market competitiveness and profit is crucial for the projector company. So how to effectively decision out the competitive high-end projector development plan, it becomes an important issue.
Based on simple multi-attribute ranking technique (SMART), this thesis constructs important attribute parameters of high-end projectors, and develops the decision model of high-end projectors R&D project. To find the best project and enhance the decision-making quality. This thesis used real data adopted a projector company in Taiwan for an empirical study to validate the proposed approach. The results have shown practical viability of the proposed approach. This thesis concludes with discussion of contributions and future research directions.
