近年來職場過勞的問題頻傳,許多國家因而越來越重視工作者身心健康與工作的關聯,以及可能造成的潛在風險。針對此問題,本文概述了一項前導研究,旨在了解工作者的身心狀態覺察對工作品質與安全的影響,並歸納、辨識成各項問題主題。此外,本研究也試圖找出導致人們對健康覺察認知失誤的各項可能因素,深入挖掘工作者需求。

本研究分為兩階段。第一階段為前導研究,我們與容易有過勞問題但工作型態較為彈性的工作者——職業駕駛(計程車司機/優步司機)先進行半結構式的深入訪談,了解他們平常的身心健康、生活事件、人際關係等對其工作的影響。第二階段我們用許多方法收集相關數據,例如穿戴式感測科技、自我回報資訊、人際觀察等等,對工作者進行更深入的分析,嘗試驗證前導研究所歸納的問題與假設,探討科技與人際因子協助工作者的潛力。

為了協助工作者提升對自我身心狀態覺察力,我們也根據科技策略提出未來可能的應用程式設計開發指南。本研究的目標為,協助工作者參考科技感測之生理數據與人際觀察評估等各面向的資訊,最終做出較為全面、理性的工作決策,進而提升他們的職場健康與工作品質。
In recent years, problem of overwork in the workplace has been frequent. Many countries paid more and more attention to the impact of workers' physical and mental health on their work . For this issue, this paper outlines a pilot study aimed at identifying salient themes in the awareness of health and well-being and the effects that this can have on one’s home life and work behavior. We also sought to identify the factors that lead to lapses in one’s awareness of health and well-being issues.

The research contains two studies: First, interviews were conducted with individuals who are known to work for extended durations (taxi / Uber drivers). Then, a number of proven methods were used for the collection of pertinent data (i.e., sensing technologies, self-reported information, and interpersonal observations).

Finally, design guidelines are presented for the development of technology-based solutions aimed at raising awareness of health and well-being among workers in high-stress occupations. Our ultimate objective is to enhance the health and well-being of workers through informed decision making.
