This research discusses the academic influence of "Zhou Guan Xin Yi"(周官新義) which was composed by Wang An-Shih (王安石) in Song Dynasty. Wang An-Shih finished compiling "Zhou Guan Xinyi" during his administration period in order to unify the students’ understanding of classics. Due to the close relationship between "Zhou Li "(周禮) and Wang An-Shih’s Reform, "Zhou Guan Xinyi" is regarded as the only one of Wang's personal annotation. That’s the reason why it has been sustaining controversy and impacting widely. There were various scholars of different genres who proposed different opinions about "Zhou Li”(周禮) during the Northern Song Dynasty. Also, they criticized Wang's learning and political achievement based on "Zhou Li" at the same time. The writer decided to investigate the academic comments from Sima Guang (司馬光), Cheng Brothers (二程), Sue Shih (蘇軾), and Chao Shui-Zhi (晁說之) in purpose of accessing a reference about Xinyi's influence in the Northern Song Dynasty. Not only the status of the official textbook of "Zhou Guan Xinyi" but also its special method of interpretation. It attracted a large number of students to advocate Wang's doctrine. Among these reason, Wang Zhao-Yu 's (王昭禹)" Zhou Li Xiang Jie "(周禮詳解) is a representative work. " Zhou Li Xiang Jie "is inheriting the annotation as well as agreeing with Wang An-Shih's view of “Zhou Li”. Additionally, Wang Zhao-Yu derivate the classic meaning through characters explaining by further imitating An Shi's "word interpretation" (以字解經). Although Wang Zhao-Yu expressed a few doubts about Xinyi, he supported Wang An-Shih's statement quietly. On the other hand, Yang Shi (楊時) did fierce criticism on An-Shih's learning. His book called "San Jing Yi Bian" (三經義辨) was all made to break the An-Shih's theory. Yang Shi stricture the method of interpretation and contents of Xinyi thoroughly. This book has a significant impact on Wang An-Shih's scholarship. Also, it dispelled Wang’s legitimism and sacredness at the same time. Moreover, because of the continuous efforts of Tao Xue(道學) scholars, Tao Xue became mainstream after middle period of the Southern Song Dynasty. On the contrary, Wang Xue decline eventually. The scholars in the Southern Song Dynasty also had tendency to the same regard for Wang Xue. The writer choose four people as well, they are Zhu Xi(朱熹), Lu Jiu-Yuan(陸九淵), Hu Hong(胡宏)and Chen Fu-Liang(陳傅良). Exploring the differences between them and Wang An-Shih's view of Zhou Li for the purpose of further understanding why they opposed Wang Xue. In addition, the writer discuss two noteworthy "Zhou Li" studies in the Southern Song Dynasty which are Ye Shi’s (葉時) "Li Jing Hui Yuan"(禮經會元)and Wei Liao-Weng’s (魏了翁) " Zhou Li Zhe Zhong "(周禮折衷). Finally, the writer tried to sketch out the follow-up effect and evaluation of Wang An-Shih's "Zhou Li" study in the Southern Song Dynasty, when there were strong Tao Xue atmosphere by analyzing their quotes from the Xinyi commentary and the position expressed therein.
