This research is base on the comparison of three junior high school Chinese textbook versions, 2017. After analyzed the percentage of classic and modern Chinese articles in textbook, the stubborn “canonization” was found. Due to the traditional patriarchal ideology, the higher percentage of Classical Chinese; the less female writer in the textbook.
Senior high school entrance examination also leads the teaching and text book edition. It’s from the popular diplomacy in Taiwan society.
In current age, after the popularity of women’s education, the output of female writer’s literature article is large. The sexual limit in Chinese textbook is not that stubborn because of the modern Chinese articles.
I also research each Chinese textbook version’s article selection idea and analyzed its relationship between gender equality. I tried to figure out and concluded the gender equality’s realization on current article selection. I expect my research could relay the results of many pre-researchers.
