The author discusses Qiu Miaojin and her related works, using Luhmann's emotional theory, and developed four emotional codes as follows: "Sprout of emotion" (idealization), "Exhibition of erotic desire" (paradoxicalization), "Marriage and family" ( Functionalization), "behind the emotions" (permanence) and other aspects. This research is open to the reading and analysis of the text, and it is hoped that the text can be extended, proliferated and re-created with the imagination of readers.
