這篇論文題出一個新的輸入對和新編碼方式的兩電壓選擇器,旨在提高精準度和節省面積。

本篇論文提出的兩級式數位類比轉換器,切換電壓開關的部份比傳統樹狀的結構,電晶體數目節省一半;改進過後的輸入對在精心設計下,可以提升線性度進而提升精準度。

內文中會詳細介紹此電路的實現架構和設計考量,本次架構使用TSMC T18技術進行設計和量測。INL為0.19 LSB,DNL為0.15 LSB,一個通道大小為15.7×296 μm2。
This work proposes a 10-bit 2 stage DAC with an area-efficient 2 voltage selector and a linearity-enhanced input-pair for LCD driver. The new 2 voltage selector has only 50% of the number needed for a 6-bit tree-type 2-voltage selector. To improve the linearity of the current DAC-embedded op-amp, the input-pairs operate at the edge of the saturation region. The 10-bit DAC were produced with 0.18μm CMOS technology with the worst DNL/INL being 0.09/0.17 LSB.
