Buddhist literature originated from the Buddhist scriptures proclaimed by the Buddha, and the works created by subsequent generations of monks and literati in the spirit of Buddhism also belong to the same category. In contemporary Taiwan, where Buddhism is flourishing, Buddhist literature has developed for more than four hundred years. It has its traces in oral literature, classical literature, and contemporary monk literature. The results have also been impressive. Today, it uses literature to promote the Dharma and benefit one’s life. The connection between literature and the masses is still valued by the Buddhist circles in Taiwan. Hongfa prose refers to the literary creations of monks who use prose as clothing and practice of mind-cultivation. They focus their scattered hearts in one place between writing and writing, so that after the delusion ceases, they become pure and clear. In the realm of enlightenment, Prajna wisdom also arises. The monks write essays, practice the inner cultivation of the heart, and promote the Dharma externally. Therefore, the prose of the Dharma is a self-interested work with two sides. This thesis takes Shi Jianjie and Shi Miaoxi as the research objects. First, introduce the growth process of the two masters separately, and discuss how the master observes and thinks in the realm of life, and then adjusts and cultivates the mind. Secondly, discuss whether the form and characteristics of creation, the language, dialectics, structure, style, etc. that it presents, inspire a certain aesthetic style. Finally, point out the common and specific features of the two masters' prose, as well as the ideological context, editing features, publishers, readers, etc. of the prose collection.
